Hertz to add Nissan Leaf to rental selection

The New York Times has reported that Hertz will be adding Nissan’s entry into the growing electric car stable, the LEAF (Leading, Environmentally Friendly, Affordable, Family car), to their rental selection.  It will become available later this year.  The quantity and rental prices, however, are as of yet unavailable.  According to the article, Paula Rivera, a company spokeswoman, says that the LEAF will likely end up in locations where the vehicles are expected to be in demand.  For example, in and around Chicago, Nissan typically sells very well and renters could expect to see a fleet of LEAFs made available. … Continue Reading
